Is “Cleanse” a Dirty Word?

Detox. Cleanse. New You!  Yes, it’s January and your inboxes are FULL of people encouraging you to start losing weight, correcting bad habits, and getting back to the gym. For me, when I would see those emails, I would open them up and wonder what a new me would look and feel like, and I would get excited to try the new system. But, upon further inspection of the program, I would be confused and wondering how to get started. There’s always really long grocery lists, and tons of weird things to drink and eat at very specific times. Some programs I tried and felt great, but they were not sustainable. And, some had me a couple of days in and starving, like ready to eat my own hand.  This used to make the word “cleanse” a trigger for me.  I didn’t want to hear about a new one.  I didn’t want to read a single thing about detoxifying the body. For goodness’ sakes the body does this naturally every night. So, you might be surprised when I finally tried one a couple years later. With a lot of convincing from my chiropractor, I got on board and never looked back.

And, this my friends is the one I still do regularly two years later and counting. I usually do it once in the winter and once in the late summer/early fall. It’s very simple, and it can be tailored to wherever you are in your life right now. I am here to help you figure this out, and help you feel a little lighter and brighter. Things I DON’T want anyone to deal with while on this program: hunger, guilt, confusion, and lack of knowledge. I want you to want to feel better. So, when you’re ready, you’re ready. This can be an amazing way to reset your sweet tooth after end of year indulging. (Which, I admittedly did,  and I enjoyed every last minute of it.)  This cleanse, or re-set if you are adverse to the “c” word, it can help lift your foggy brain out of the clouds. It can also help relieve some anxiety by aiding in regulation of blood sugar spikes. . And, it will put out the inflammation fires in your joints so as to ease body pains.

SO, .if you’re interested (even a little bit) allow me to  send you some info, so you can get excited about feeling good in your own skin. I hope you have questions, because I have answers, and I am ready to help.

I am leading a group cleanse this January 27th. If you want to be added to the group let me know. I will be using Facebook as my platform for the group work. And, if you want to go solo I can assist in that too.

Love,
Anna
